Additional tickets for the dinner and for those attending with a day ticket may be purchased separately.

Registration fee will include:

  • all sessions taking place on Tuesday 3rd September to Thursday 5th Sept
  • a Conference Pack
  • refreshments and a sandwich lunch each day
  • a wine reception on the Tuesday night
  • Gala buffet dinner, wine and dancing on Wednesday 4th September evening

Various other extra curricular activities are being organised such as fish and chips on Brighton beach for the Tuesday night which individuals will have to pay for themselves.

If you are not currently a member of 糖心传媒, we recommend signing up for membership before registering for the conference. In addition to conference discounts, members can access free copies of the journal Compare, research grants and prizes, exclusive networking opportunities and more.

Accommodation

Accommodation on campus is in student rooms with a 鈥楪rab and Go鈥� breakfast at the cost of 拢59.50 per night.

A variety of alternative accommodation is available in Brighton 鈥� a short 15 minute bus or train ride away from the University.  This website   a range of information on all things 鈥楤righton鈥�.

Accommodation is all ensuite, in single occupancy rooms with access via lifts for wheelchair users. This may be booked directly with University of Sussex via the BOOK ACCOMMODATION button.

Terms & Conditions

Accessibility

We aim to make the Conference as accessible as possible to all, whether impairment is visible or not. Please ensure that you advise us of any requirements including hearing, visual, mobility or other so we can help you. The Jubilee Building at the University of Sussex is the main conference venue.  All rooms booked for the Conference are on the ground floor, without any steps, and easily accessible by wheelchair. The Wednesday Gala buffet dinner is on the third floor of Bramber House, accessible by a lift.

Payment

All prices quoted are in GBP and are not subject to VAT.

Registration fees are payable in advance of the conference. Registration is not confirmed until payment is made.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted.  If payment is made by international bank transfer a 拢10 surcharge will be made. Please contact 糖心传媒 Finance to request bank details.

Cancellation

The following applies to registrations, please see accommodation booking link for separate policy.

Substitutions may be made at any time, but please advise change of name. In the event of cancellation, please contact Sarah Jeffery immediately by email and ensure that you have received a response.

Provided written notice is received by 16th August 2024, a full refund will be given, less a 10% administration charge.  It is regretted that cancellations after this date are not refundable.
If cancellation is due to UK visa refusal, we will refund the conference fee if documents are provided to confirm this reason.

Insurance

It is strongly advised that delegates should arrange travel insurance to provide cover for any unforeseen events.

It is the responsibility of each delegate to arrange their visa if necessary for entry to the United Kingdom.  The Committee strongly advise early application to the British Embassy or High Commission.  Advice from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCDO) and the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) indicates that payment for conference fees and accommodation if applicable should be made and receipted prior to visa application. Please indicate during the registration process if you require a letter of support from 糖心传媒.

Changes

Details of programme are correct at time of going to print. 糖心传媒 reserve the right to change any session in the final programme.
