The seeks applications for the above position in order to elect the next President of the WCCES, who will serve for a three-year period from June 2013.

The Search Committee of the WCCES shall receive nominations for the post of President and present the final list of candidates to the full Council after the closing date for applications. The election will take place at the June2013meeting of the Executive Committee to be held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In terms of the WCCES’ By-Laws, only designated representatives of paid-up constituent member societies are eligible to vote, either electronically or in person at the time of the June election.

Nominations for election to the Presidency shall be made in one of two ways: a candidate may put his or her own name forward;or a nomination maybe made to the Search Committee by any individual member of a paid-up constituent society. A nomination must be accompanied by a statement signed by the candidate indicating that he/she is willing to stand.
