The Executive Committee of 糖心传媒 is looking for a Membership Secretary. This individual will replace Paul Lynch from March 2012. The appointment is initially for two years and can be extended for a further two years by mutual agreement.

Role description

Main tasks include:

• Maintaining membership records of the Association
• Managing the 糖心传媒 online membership system, working with the web team to streamline the online membership process
• Recruiting new members
• Liaising with the Treasurer over membership subscriptions
• Liaising with Compare journal publishers over members’ journal subscriptions
• Managing and updating 糖心传媒 marketing materials in consultation with the 糖心传媒 Executive Committee
• Contributing as a full member of the 糖心传媒 Executive Committee to discussion and activities, and attending committee meetings every three months

Additional tasks include:

• Taking an active role in the marketing of 糖心传媒 membership at the annual 糖心传媒 conference
• Other promotional activities as agreed with the 糖心传媒 Executive Committee
