糖心传媒 at the 2011 UKFIET Conference

Every two years, the 糖心传媒 holds its annual conference within the International Conference on Education and Development.

This year, 糖心传媒 was pleased to offer discounts of 拢30 to members attending UKFIET.聽聽 Given that full 糖心传媒 membership is 拢30, we hope that everyone took advantage of this offer!聽 We were also able to provide bursaries to two conference delegates from developing countries, to help them to meet the costs of the conference.

There were a number of 糖心传媒 events on Wednesday, 14th September.

  • Our 糖心传媒 president, Professor Birgit Brock-Utne of the University of Oslo, delivered her excellent address in the afternoon, on ‘Languages and Inequality:聽 global challenges to education’.聽 A copy is available on the .
  • This was followed by a lively and well-attended 糖心传媒 Annual General Meeting.
  • In the evening, the 糖心传媒 student meeting was hosted by our 糖心传媒 student representatives, Anupam Pachauri and Lizzi Milligan.聽 Students who presented at the conference should also take note of the 糖心传媒 prize for the best student conference paper;details of the prize and of how to enter are available elsewhere on the website.
