Basirat Razaq-Shuaib

Basirat is a third year PhD candidate at the Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. She is currently researching the perspectives and lived experiences of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their parents in accessing education in a Nigerian context. Basirat is interested in issues of voice and participation of parents and children as well as policies and practices that can reduce education exclusion for children with disabilities in low-income countries. She has authored three children鈥檚 picture books two of which promote disability inclusion, empathy and kindness.
