Her research focuses on the interplay between education and labour markets. Within this area, she focuses on the transition of graduates from university to job market and potential socio-economic inequalities in the employability of graduates. She is also interested in international education and development. Her current research projects focus on employability of international education graduates, contribution of international education graduates to their home country, university-industry partnerships, and innovation in higher education within post-Soviet countries. Dilrabo currently serves on the international advisory board for Journal of Comparative and International higher Education.

His current engagement with educational research builds on his experience as a teacher, teacher educator, and non-profit leader in India. Through Flourishing Minds Foundation, an organisation he founded in 2011, he runs a free, learning centre in rural Maharashtra for children and families from marginalised communities. Along with this grassroots work, he has engaged extensively with the larger educational ecosystem – schools, government bodies, multinational agencies, and NGOs – to enrich the research-practice interaction. Currently, his research work is focused on mental health and education in the Global South. He is from Assam, India.

David Turner /person/david-turner/ Sat, 24 May 2014 19:52:47 +0000 /?post_type=person&p=1690 Professor David Andrew Turner is Professor Emeritus of Education at the University of South Wales, UK, and Professor at the Institute for International and Comparative Education (IICE), Beijing Normal University, Beijing, China.

He has extensive experience of teaching in schools and universities in the UK, including working as admissions tutor for several postgraduate programmes. He is the author of several books, including Quality in Higher Education (Sense Publishing, 2012) and Theory and Practice of Education (Continuum Books, 2007), as well as numerous scholarly articles in peer reviewed journals.

His research interests range across Comparative Education, Higher Education, Education Policy and Leadership and Management in Education.
